Theatre fans in the NYC area may want to check out a new play by Jason Schafer called I Google Myself opening June 14 at Under St. Marks. It is the unusual story of three very different men with the same name. One is a gay porn star with a dirty little secret. One is a stoner mechanic who blogs poetry and has anger management issues. And another is a wily stalker with a balloon fetish, desperate to make a connection. Their worlds collide when one man Googles his own name to find others who share his moniker. More than 600 people bounce on Space Hoppers Sunday on the Millennium Bridge in London, England. They broke the Guinness World Record for the largest simultaneous Space Hopper bounce. The previous record, 551, was set in 2003.

Scrolling through our logs, we came across someone linking to our little site here. http://bart-calendar.livejournal.com/433417.html I have to admit, that we’re really flattered that someone has taken notice of us 🙂 I took a quick look though his blog, and it seems that perhaps the author’s audience might be receptive to learning more about balloon fetish. After all, education is the key to general awareness, understanding and acceptance. I’m sure that foot fetishists were considered curiosities at one point, and now they’re practically mainstream! Just think- more gals and guys bouncing on balloons everywhere!
It seems that the universal appeal of large, tightly inflated balloons is catching the attention of Madison Avenue. Major kudos to the VP who approved this ad featuring a curvy, attractive woman inflating a red 36 incher by mouth, then pin popping it! What did we ever do before youtube?
